What is the best thing you have ever found at a flea market?


Your best flea market stories

I haven't found anything exceptionally valuable but I did get a set of rather expensive plates for next to nothing. Brand new they went for $10-$15 a piece but I ended up getting 7 for $4.00.

I found a set of canisters for flour, sugar, and tea - all three of them for $10. I read later in the paper the following week that the same exact set was retailing for about $100. I still have them but am debating on whether I should sell them on ebay or not.

I have not really found anythingt oo amazing. BUT believe it or not. My friend bought a book for five dollars one day. She thought it looked interesting and quite old. She decided to try and sell ti on ebay and people bid on it like CRAZY and she ended up selling it at 700 bucks! INSANE. I had to see the auction page to believe it!
