Mr. X, it would have been a different story if you had provided information on the market in question to disapprove the first point. That is not to say that you have no point in what you said. She must have looked at the subject of the forum to justify her actions. As long as it has to do with flea markets in Oregon, ther would be no harm in posting that info in here, would there?

I got this tips from Donny Lowy's article better check the link below for more details1. Treat your flea market business like a real business. Set regular hours and have a weekly schedule. 2. Expand beyond the local flea markets. To really make money in the flea market business you need to travel to other flea markets, especially if they are larger than your local flea markets. 3. Always have a large assortment of merchandise. Flea market customers can only buy what you sell, so always make sure to be fully stocked with inventory. 4. Stay competitive. Make sure your prices are under local retailers, including Wal Mart. If you buy right, you can keep your prices low. 5. Use the Internet to build your flea market business. Find flea market wholesale suppliers by using wholesale search engines.

I have never heard of a flea market called clover dale before, but I am sure like any other, it would be very interesting as they al have many wondrous items on sale, even the one's that are hidden or few far and in between. It is still always a joy to find the ideal item at a clearance sale sort of a price. It is quite very well known that one of the best places in which to get items of thus particular nature would be at a flea market.

That is a good advice Eve, most especially if the shoppers tends to go for a place to shop with a restricted budget, earning money is so hard nowadays so we have to be very careful on spending too much.Flea markets have items that comes at a very low price so try check some good flea markets and shop some good finds. What are we waiting for? Let's go..

Let's go where? Do you mean to say let's go shopping? It is true that nowadays, earning money is so hard, and so we have to look after on how we spend during shopping. Flea markets have some nice finds, yes indeed, but make sure that you know what you are going to buy and do not over spend. Buy only what you need so you can save lots of bucks.

I think Quinn meant to say lets go shopping. I also have to agree that in this hard financial times people tend to go for some extra sources of income, and the best place to do this is through the flea markets, where you can bring your goods and then sell it there, or you can check for some reasonably priced items there for low budget shopping. Happy shopping.. ciao..

Cloverdale flea market is a flea market located right next to the Cloverdale Horse Track. There are lots of good finds in this flea market. I always make sure that during the Spring and early Summer months, i grab my shopping bags and some cash to go shopping. Well, with lots of items that can get your attention, it is better that you bring on some extra cash in case you like to buy something out of the shopping list.

Saving is the name of the game. This is the only reason that I would prefer flea markets over any other outlet.

Then again, a garage sale is also a place where one can, very much find some things that they would find to be important things, at least in their very life. One mans trash is another's treasure.

I would only say so because it is so. Isn't this statement so very true? In fact, it is so much so, that it could not get much more real.
Reply #19 Eve (63.176.159.39) - 12/12/09 15:39
Oh and yea, by the way, he did mean let's go shopping, surely.

I also love to go garage shopping. With all those still good items that are in store for shoppers like me (who by the way loves bargains) would find those garage sales very much useful. But flee markets are way different. I would certainly love to shop at flee markets as much as I love to shop at garage sales before. All in all, flee markets and garage sales are both fantastic.

Garage sales, flea markets, all these places are great for the lesser fortunate people that are out there.
Reply #22 Katelyn (63.176.159.168) - 01/15/10 21:19
Oh, so those place are just for the lesser fortunate people huh. Of course not. Not all who are shopping at flea markets are less fortunate people. Not because you are buying items on places like that means you have less in life, no. It is just that you want to find some items that are great yet at low price. This is great during this times of financial difficulties.
Reply #23 Cherry (63.176.159.30) - 02/08/10 21:21
I have to agree on that Katelyn, not all who shops at flea markets are less fortunate and there are no such things as 'less fortunate', no. I believe all of us people have our own luck and if by now you have a little doesn't mean that you are already less fortunate, poor or whatever they it. You just have to get your things together and start making the much better you.
Reply #24 Sam (109.111.97.246) - 03/07/10 21:44
Yeah, I have to agree on that too. It is not that they are less fortunate but they are just trying to save some money. I would surely love to go shopping at flea markets too. There are lots of great buys in those stalls and also some good people to meet. Anyway, have a great day guys and kindly keep all of those posts coming in. Thanks a lot. • Page 1 (Original Post) • Page 2 (Newest Replies) •
