I have recently moved to the East Falls area of NE Philadelphiaand was in the business in Fort Laud Fla. for years. I have a hugh inventory of goods from collectables to art and leather bags as well as lovely jewlery and more. If you can help me locate a safe active area to set up I would greatly appreciate it. Sincerely, Jeff Salterman 301-503-0062 jaskat21@aolo.com

Some things to know about this fleamarket.Market days are Friday and Saturday. Friday 2pm-10pm and Saturday 11am-10pm. There is an indoor market with permanent vendors and an outdoor market (mostly undercover w/tables). Spaces are by reservation only. You have to go to the office to get assigned a space. The last time I was there (about 3 years ago) spaces were rented by the weekend and not the day and at that time a space was $30.00 per day. The biggest thing about this market is merchandise has to be "approved" by management. There is a no competition rule at Zerns. You cannot sell anything an inside vendor sells. Say a vendor inside sells sunglasses, you will not be allowed to sell them at the market. This rule makes it difficult to be a vendor there as you are limited in the things you can sell.

Bob, it is normally easier done than said. Is it a flea or a flee market? What does it normally deal in/with? Online searches can really be helpful

Many flea markets will have a variety of items ranging from fresh produce to handcraft materials. I do not know about this particular one but what they normally have in common is a schedule of operation and many vendors. You will find most items at a cheap price but you have to have a persistent spirit. It has to do with what atmosphere also exists within the flea market in question.

Please run a quick search on the net. You will find all that you need.Vendors and customers in this flea market come from near and far, including other countries and states. You will often find anything from plants to pants, socks to signage, tools and miscelleneous bric-a-brac. The shoppper with an adventurous spirit can find anything from an old spitton to an antique gilt frame. This market has been on the scene since 1922.

Why do you want to go visit? do you need to actually meet Zern himself? What's the situation here?

As Eve had said, he wanted to pay a visit maybe to see that Zern himself. Those flea markets are great most especially for those who would want to have some good finds that costs less compared to some items on the malls. Thanks for posting those information regarding this flea market in Pennsylvania. Anyway, have a good day everyone and just keep those posts coming in for others to read.

I will definitly give the flea market a visit. If itīs the way Iīve seen flea markets, thereīs plenty of antiques, old books, stuff that was up in the attic when it was emptied out.I really love that sort of thing. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
