Stuck in VT 172: Speaking Volumes

Thank author of this post/comment4/12/10: Speaking Volumes is full of interesting old stuff, books, records, antiques and collectibles - each doodad with a story to tell, usually one that speaks volumes. Owner Norbert Ender recently opened Barge Canal Market (in the same building as Speaking Volumes), a 3600 sq ft space chock full of vintage furniture and flea market wares which he hopes will be a gathering place for the thriving Pine St arts scene. Cool stuff has a way of finding Norbert, and he does his best to find good homes for these little bits of history. Music: Annemieke Spoelstra, Toccare, Frédéric Chopin, Fantaisie-Impromptus in C# Minor, Opus 66 Location: Speaking Volumes, Burlington Vermont www.annemiekespoelstra.com www.freewebs.com

Wow, that's pretty amazing. How I wish that I could also go to the Speaking volumes and learn the history of each single thing they display and sold. I also love collecting books and other small stuff. But I think those things in the Speaking volumes are really valuable as it preserved its origin. I really enjoyed seeing the video. Thank you Norbert Ender for sharing it with us.

Sometimes that is only when you see the true value of something, when you learn about its history. This guy has a good thing going by telling customers about the history of each item, I bet it really helps him make much more sales than he would normally make, but you can tell that it is also his passion which is nice as it is really good when you can make a living from your passion.
